As many of you know, I love American Sign Language! It's really a passion of mine.
I have studied and continue studying ASL to become better all the time.
For the last year, I have become an Instructor through the Signing Time Academy. I teach babies and toddlers, bigger kids and adults! Communication is so important. Why not get to know what's on your baby's mind before he or she can verbally talk? Teach him to talk with his hands! It has been proven to reduce frustration, tantrums, raise IQ's and is just plain fun!
What does this have to do with wellness? Everything! Taking charge of communication and giving your child a head-start at telling you exactly what he wants or needs would boost his own confidence! He can say "Thirsty" or "Diaper Change", or "Play" without having to cry about it, or walk around soggy! I would say that is certainly wellness for your child!
