How About Some Honey, Honey!

I don't know about you, but during the winter my skin needs some extra lovin'. How many of you suffer from dehydrated, ashy skin during this time of year? Do you look like Cinderella as she sat in the ashes? Well, listen up, because I have an awesome skincare scrub that will have your skin dewy and glowing in no time. It's my Salty-Honey Facial Scrub, made with ingredients right from your own kitchen. This scrub is all natural, inexpensive and works like a charm. To make one application you'll need:

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon salt

Few drops of olive oil

Mix everything together until the scrub resembles peanut butter. Apply gently over clean, wet skin in a circular motion, making sure to avoid eye area. Leave on for about 10 minutes, then rinse. Follow up with your favorite moisturizer.

Why does this stuff work so well? It contains honey, which is known as a humectant. This means that it attracts moisture, so your skin benefits. Also, honey is naturally antibacterial. And, of course, salt has been used for centuries as a healing agent. It tightens, preserves and acts as an exfoliant, removing those stubborn dead skin cells, forcing new and healthy skin to emerge.

So give it a try. After all, when Cinderella went to the Ball, she left behind that ashy skin!
